Template motion to support Votes at 16

Description:
This is a template motion for School Councils, Youth Councils, youth organisations, residents groups, Local Authorities / Councils and any other organisation to pass in support of Votes at 16. This template includes many examples of arguments you might want to use - you should pick and choose the arguments you want to use, and you can find help with making the case and defending your arguments on this website and in our pamphlet "16 for 16". The most important points are to ensure that any motion clearly states support for lowering the voting age to 16 in all public elections in the UK, and resolves to join the Votes at 16 Coalition (both in red and bold in the template). Remember to let us know if your organisation passes a motion!
